I grew up in Eads, Colorado, a small town in the southeast corner of the state. Growing up on a farm and playing football, baseball and wrestling taught me a lot of good lessons through the years. Despite being involved in many extracurricular activities in school, music has always been a big part of my life.
My mom is a great singer and that is who I get my talent from. I started singing with her in church as a child. At 10 years old, a group of my friends and I started a rock band: Instant Reality. We thought we were pretty cool. Eventually, my friends lost interest, but music was still something I wanted to pursue. As I grew up, my taste in music shifted. I went from singing rock to country and blues.
After graduating from high school in 2017, I had a busy summer on the road with a lot of gigs at fairs and bars around Southeastern Colorado. The summer brought a lot of great opportunities, including going to Nashville, TN and playing at at the Bluebird Cafe and Bobby's Idle Hour.
In August 2017, I moved to Canyon, TX to begin college at West Texas A&M University, where I will be studying Agricultural Communications and Agricultural Business, as well as pursing my country music dreams.
In October 2017, traveled back to Nashville, TN where I had my very first recording session at Jay's Place - a studio on music row. I recorded four of my original songs with Jay Vernali as the producer and the studio musicians. The songs I recorded include "Always Coming Home," "Fun Being Bad," "Freedom Will Always Ring True" and "You'll Be Sorry."
In January 2018, I finished recording my album. The final tracks include "Wild Women and Smooth Whiskey," "One Kiss at a Time," "American Dream" and "Angels Over Tennessee." My debut album was released on April 27, 2018.
